067: Biophilic Design with Elizabeth Carmichael of Eco House
We explore the concept of Biophilic Design with architect and Eco House Founder Liz Carmichael in this week’s episode. Biophilic design aims to connect the occupants to the natural environment where the space is built, which can include direct views to the nature outside or incorporating native plants inside and outside of the structure. Liz talks about the benefits of Biophilic Design, the importance of the human to nature connection, and how she helps clients build spaces sustainably. She also shares what led her to a career in architecture and Biophilic Design.
